|FRANCIACORTA, PREVIEW: TEAM LUCIDI MOTORS OBJECTIVE AT THE EVE OF THE SEASON OPENER
|12/05/2011 - After the first official collective tests, held two weeks ago in Franciacorta, the Italian Formula 3 Championship will live its season opener on the same circuit near Brescia from tomorrow on.
The team Lucidi Motors will line up three Dallara F310-FPT Racing driven by Kevin Giovesi (MCO, n.22), second in the rookies classification last year and by the two rookies Edward Cheever (ITA, n.24) and Victor Guerin (BRA, n.19).
Italian Formula 3 cars will race for the first time ever on the circuit named after Daniel Bonara, inaugurated in 2006 and unfolding in 2.519 meters composed by 13 turns, 8 right handers and 5 left handers and a main straight 519 meters long.
On paper, weather conditions are going to be difficult with thunderstorms and rainfalls that should affect the circuit from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon.

"We begin our season well motivated to aim at first class results but most of all with the clear objective of making our drivers grow by putting all or know-how on a technical car like the Formula 3 to their avail.
The championship announces to be very tight both in the absolute classification and in the rookies', I foresee a high level competition in every race".
