|DOUBLE VICTORY AND HEAD OF THE CLASSIFICATION AT MUGELLO
|20/07/2008 - Lucidi Motors Team had a weekend full of satisfaction at Mugello. Mirko Bortolotti has been an absolute ruler in the fourth round of the Italian Formula 3 Championship, scoring two victories, two pole positions and the fastest lap in race one.
The driver from Trento, now at the lead of the classification, concluded with the mentioned results a recovery on Edoardo Piscopo (Team Ghinzani) started at Monza and now he stands 4 points clear of Piscopo.
Giovanni Nava completed the positive picture of the weekend with another third place after the podium achieved at Magione. His good shape has been confirmed with the fourth place in race two.
Francesco Castellacci, feverish throughout the weekend, obtained with great character the third place in race two, after the fourth final position achieved in race one. osizione nella prima corsa.
"In the eight races run so far our team has always finished with at least a driver on the podium and in even two in five occasions. Bortolotti obtained today the leadership of the classification, confirming our competitiveness despite the technical changes introduced this year.
With the third place obtained this morning Nava proved to continue his growth. Castellacci deserves to be acknowledged since he raced feverish."
"The victory in race two has been more difficult than the morning one. The track was very dirty and a minimal mistake would have been enough to lose the leadership. I kept my concentration to the maximum because I longed this double victory that allows me to be at the lead of the classification. We are anyway still at half of the season and we will have to keep on working with the same intensity till the end."
